Our client is seeking a

  • *Senior Cloud Administrator**

to join their infrastructure and support team, with a strong focus on Azure cloud operations and infrastructure as code.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a

  • *collaborative, non-siloed environment**

and wants exposure to a wide range of technologies including cloud, security, automation, and emerging initiatives like data and AI.

The team is currently undergoing a

  • *major digital transformation**

, moving from traditional on-prem infrastructure to a modern, cloud-first environment.

  • *Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support cloud infrastructure, primarily in
  • *Microsoft Azure
  • Design and manage
  • *cloud architecture**

, including virtual networking, compute, and storage

  • Build and maintain infrastructure using
  • *Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Support configuration management and automation efforts (Ansible adoption underway)
  • Collaborate across infrastructure, support, and security functions in a
  • *highly team-oriented environment
  • Assist with ongoing cloud optimization, performance, and security initiatives
  • Provide support across the broader infrastructure stack as needed (no strict silos)
  • *Core Requirements (Top Priorities)
  • Strong experience in
  • *cloud administration and architecture

(Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)

  • Hands-on experience with
  • *Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required)
  • Understanding of
  • *cloud security best practices
  • *Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, including:
  • Azure (compute, storage, networking)
  • Office 365
  • Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Scripting experience with
  • *PowerShell and/or Python
  • Experience with
  • *GitHub**

and version control workflows

  • Exposure to
  • *configuration management tools**

(Ansible is a plus)

  • Working knowledge of
  • *SQL or cloud-based databases
  • Background supporting or migrating from on-prem infrastructure
