Azure Infrastructure Specialist

Our client seeks an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance a mature Azure environment with a strong security mindset. The role focuses on hands-on Azure services, cost optimization, and operational excellence, supporting continued hardening of cloud security controls. The hire will ensure continuity of ongoing initiatives and collaborate across IT to improve reliability, performance, and governance.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Support, maintain, and improve an existing 100% Microsoft Azure environment. Administer and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, File Shares, and Azure Backup.

Manage access with hard and soft token methods and enforce governance policies. Collaborate with team members to deliver stable, secure, and scalable cloud operations. Triage and resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements.

Proficiency with Azure Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, File Shares, and Azure Backup. Ability to maintain and mature an existing cloud environment rather than lead a net-new migration. Effective collaboration and communication across IT teams.
