Requirements

Must have

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance in DISS - Extensive, hands-on experience with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms - Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible - In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs, VNETs, Transit Gateways, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, DNS, and load balancing - Proven experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Azure AKS - Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and data management platforms, particularly ServiceNow and Cohesity (preferred but not mandatory) - Valid certifications in one or both cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, along with managing CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins - Familiarity with cloud observability, monitoring, and logging tools including AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Splunk - Understanding of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda) and cloud database services like Amazon RDS and Azure SQL - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for translating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and oversee resilient and scalable cloud infrastructures within AWS and Azure environments - Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management processes of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Monitor performance of cloud systems, proactively troubleshoot infrastructure challenges, and manage incidents to ensure consistent availability - Implement security best practices, develop comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, and enforce compliance across cloud platforms - Analyze resource utilization to optimize cloud expenditure, rightsizing infrastructure and implementing cost-efficiency strategies (e.g., reserved instances, savings plans) - Collaborate with teams to integrate cloud-native services and facilitate CI/CD pipeline deployments - Develop and execute thorough disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for multi-cloud and hybrid systems - Transition existing on-premises applications, workloads, and data smoothly into AWS and Azure environments - Maintain detailed and current documentation of cloud architecture, system configurations, and operational processes
