You will work on the Ford App, a premier mobile application trusted by millions of users globally. We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Senior Software Engineer specializing in Android, who is passionate about lean and agile methodologies. This role involves continuous collaboration with product owners, fellow engineers, and designers, ensuring the delivery of shippable products frequently.

Your Responsibilities...

• Develop high-quality Android applications from initial concept to production for millions of drivers worldwide.
• Collaborate in reviewing and enhancing product designs and architectures with a keen software engineering perspective.
• Assess and propose innovative products and technologies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for engineering teams.
• Engage effectively with product managers, designers, and other technical professionals.

What You Need...

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a combination of education and related experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• 5+ years of expertise in mobile frontend architecture, including modular design, state management, and navigation strategies.
• 5+ years of commitment to software testing and a preference for agile working environments.

This role falls within salary grade 8, with a range from $115,000 to $192,900. For California residents, the range is $138,800 to $232,700. Final salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and market conditions.
