Minimum qualifications

  • 10 years of experience demonstrating strong executive communication skills, and the ability to clearly communicate complex change.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, AI, or cloud-based product or engineering teams.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformations.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, coach and advise senior leaders, and effectively challenge them when appropriate.

About the job

As the People Partners Director for our Global Infrastructure organization, you will shape the people strategy and support an organization at the epicenter of delivering exceptional infrastructure scale, efficiency, reliability, and velocity.

In this role, you will be the strategic force multiplier for the teams responsible for the solutions that enable and complement Google's differentiated infrastructure offerings, including capacity of the deployed fleet, maximizing utilization rates, developing carbon free energy sources, accelerating deployment and response for AI models, and preventing outages. You'll be a key strategic player in the transformation of the people infrastructure of this critical organization, while your own HR function is transforming with AI. You will be the architect of a talent ecosystem that attracts, nurtures, and unleashes the potential of exceptional technical minds.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $264,000-$367,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Consult with leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to drive business strategies and outcomes for Google's global infrastructure.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution while all organizations and functions are undergoing a massive transformation.
  • Leverage emerging AI tooling proactively to solve complex problems through the design and implementation of solutions that cut across multiple disciplines.
  • Provide deep credible expertise as a strategic thought partner to technical leaders in the areas of organizational effectiveness, talent management, leadership effectiveness, organizational transformation, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
  • Manage a high-performing team of people partners directly to be early adopters of new technology, to lean into the transformation of our HR function, and to challenge the legacy thinking of the leaders they support.
