Volunteer: Social Media Account Consolidation and Strategy

Heart-to-Heart

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.

We're seeking a skilled volunteer to help us research best practices for consolidating multiple accounts per platform (merging, deactivating, redirecting, or inviting followers), a recovery guide for locked accounts, a prioritized proposal with recommended steps and communication templates, and volunteer support to implement the chosen solution.

Consolidating accounts will create a clearer, consistent presence so our messaging about MEDC skills reaches and engages more people inside and outside correctional settings. Volunteers will help reduce follower loss, amplify program outreach, and strengthen community trust—supporting Heart-to-Heart’s mission to help marginalized people heal and lead.

Volunteers will interview staff, present a clear proposal for approval, and work collaboratively with staff to carry out the agreed steps.

Heart-to-Heart Mission: Heart-to-Heart helps those marginalized by society and in the most need to heal, thrive, and become the leaders they are called to be. We do this by forming learning communities in and out of correctional facilities through which people develop skills essential for personal and societal healing. The skills are the MEDC (pronounced medic) skills of Mindfulness, Empathy, Decision making, and Conflict transformation.
