Our client is seeking a Junior Azure Software Engineer to support cloud engineering, system integration, and development activities within a federal program.

This role focuses on supporting the stability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems while contributing to engineering, integration, and development efforts across Azure environments.

• *Key Responsibilities
• Support development and integration of Azure-based cloud solutions
• Assist with system integration, verification, and validation activities
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and engineering trade studies
• Support requirements allocation and interface definition for systems
• Monitor and analyze system performance and reliability
• Develop proactive solutions to improve cloud system operations
• Collaborate with engineering and cloud teams to support system enhancements
• Utilize system metrics and trends to improve performance and efficiency
• *Required Qualifications
• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• Understanding of system integration and cloud-based environments
• *Certifications
• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
• One or more cloud certifications within 6 months of hire (Azure preferred)
• *Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting federal or defense programs
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and development environments
• Experience with scripting or automation tools
• Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work in secure, high-compliance environments
