Job Summary

Chandler-Gilbert Community College invites applications for a

Residential Faculty position in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within the

Physical Sciences and Engineering Division , which includes AIM, Astronomy, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, and Geosciences.

This district-funded position is projected to transition into a permanent, full-time faculty role after August 2028.

The selected candidate will

Teach in multiple instructional modalities primarily AIM courses and Bachelor-level courses depending on background and qualifications.

Support and mentor adjunct and dual enrollment faculty

Apply active learning strategies and integrate instructional technologies

Provide leadership on division and college initiatives

Serve on college and district committees

Co-chair an industry advisory council

Engage in ongoing professional development

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative academic environment while advancing innovation in AI and Machine Learning education through workforce development and support the groundbreaking Bachelors degree program.
