Cyber Project Manager (Security Engineering, Senior Associate) with Security Clearance
MIL CorporationThe MIL Corporation is seeking a Cyber Project Manager (Security Engineering, Senior Associate) to support the Department of Defense (DoD) National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). This facility supports the mission to provide realistic cybersecurity environments for test and evaluation of major DoD acquisition programs and to enable the conduct of realistic training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force. The NCRC facility may also support non-DoD customers such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS), industry, academia, and international partners.
The successful candidate will serve at the Patuxent Naval Air Station, MD site. This position currently requires an on-site schedule and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include: leading the Event Design Team in event design, execution, coordination, scheduling, resourcing, de-confliction, test development, design, and stakeholder engagement under the direction and guidance of the Event Director.
Engage with the customer to draw out and document test requirements.
Assess, design, and conceptualize test scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools and other state-of-the-art technologies related to test and evaluation requirements.
Lead the development of innovative and realistic cyber event scenarios tailored to customer mission objectives.
Define event objectives and translate user requirements into actionable tasks for the event team.
Collaborate with the Event team to create event design documents and technical briefings to support stakeholder decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cyber terrain design that replicates operational environments and incorporates real-world conditions and threats.
Advise and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system test requirements are met.
Oversee the integration of defensive and offensive cyber tools, TTPs, and emerging technologies into event scenarios.
Create, update, and maintain technical documentation.
Present event designs, findings, and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This position supports the program and all other duties as assigned. Travel 10% - 15% to other sites, as needed Required Qualifications 10 years of relevant experience Must be able to obtain and maintain CSWF certification requirements Demonstrated experience leading small, specialized teams Record of success in contributing to the completion of programs and projects; ability to obtain results and make key recommendations Ability to provide high level summary of results and draw conclusions based on interpretation of data Strong ability to use software to develop drawings and diagrams such as network diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams Desired Qualifications Strong preference for candidates with prior cyber range experience Master's Degree in a STEM subject, particularly systems engineering, network engineering, or cybersecurity IAT level III (CISA, GSE, SCNA, GCIH, CISSP (or Associate)) or IAM Level III (GSLC, CISM, CISSP (or Associate)) Certified project manager (PMP) or an experienced IT project manager Strong experience in stovepipe application configuration (MS DC/AD, Exchange, Fileshare, Web services), network configuration with virtualized OS.
Demonstrated experience leading complex systems test events Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and/or advanced certification; a Master's degree will be considered in lieu of 1 year of professional experience; a PHD will be considered in lieu of 2 years of professional experience.
Clearance
All applicants for this position must hold a current Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.
