Essential Functions of the Job

Required – 2 implementations of Google Cloud (GCP).

Don't send an AWS candidate with a little Google Cloud or a person with a POC

This person must have expertise to implement and be able to explain in detail his project and specific steps and details.

From the last round of candidates, I received only 2 were viable one was passed on because he could talk about it but had very little implementation experience.

The other candidate will interview soon. The client is requesting more candidates. I can guarantee an interview for a candidate that matches this job description.

We need a good cost-effective way to build so it doesn't cost a fortune to run.

Needed

• Docker Containers
• Kubernetes (GKE)
• Google Clouds Pub/Sub service bus
• Google's Big Data/Analytics platform
• Google Query
• Spanner
• Web App integrations
• Restful Web services
• Dev Ops.

The GCE is needed to tell us how to setup and effectively use Google Cloud. We will be using Docker & Kubernetes and will be using Google Clouds Pub/Sub service bus. We need someone to hand hold us through the setup.

Yes we will be doing REST, Docker, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, Spanner, Google Query and will need to connect to legacy on-prem applications and/or databases.

We need a good cost effective way to build so it doesn't cost a fortune to run. Experienced GCE will help us avoid the expensive was to setup and help us with any best practices and shortcuts

Client Summary.

• Need a fulltime resource for up to 3 months who has true Google Cloud experience to help get us through the build out phase.
• This person needs to have previously built out a Google Cloud platform solution before and has the knowledge to do it again; we need him/her to advise us on the pitfalls to avoid and offer solid best practices.
• This person needs understand Docker Containers, Kubernetes (GKE), Web App integrations, Google's Big Data/Analytics platform and Dev Ops.
• The most critical characteristic this person needs to have is a temperament and ability to train other engineers to understand all of the above, as well as a polished presence to speak with all levels of management.
• Clear English speaking is critical.
