Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Azure Architect and Automation Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and automation strategies across our enterprise environments. This role is critical in driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence through robust architecture and intelligent automation. Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Strategy
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure solutions aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain enterprise cloud strategies, architecture frameworks, and governance models.
• Lead cloud adoption, modernization, and migration initiatives.
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Develop and implement automation scripts and frameworks using PowerShell, ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, or Azure CLI.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to support DevOps workflows with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployment, configuration management, and environment provisioning.
• Cloud Operations & Optimization
• Manage Azure resources, monitor usage, and optimize costs.
• Implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity in cloud environments.
• Ensure security and compliance across Azure infrastructure.
• Leadership & Collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Development.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and architects.
• Conduct architecture reviews and contribute to the overall IT roadmap.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience with 4+ years focused on Microsoft Azure architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and automating large-scale Azure cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
• Expertise in IaC tools: Terraform, ARM, Bicep.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
