Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for electrical systems and technology? Pierce Transit is seeking a dedicated and skilled Security and Access Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. This is a primarily field-based position, with work performed across Pierce Transit propertiesincluding our headquarters, transit centers, and park-and-ride facilities throughout Pierce County.

In this role, you will apply your knowledge of video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems to support installation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of our security infrastructure, primarily using Genetec-, Axis-, and Bosch-based hardware. You will work closely with the Security and Access Administrator, receiving guidance on complex tasks while gaining independence as your proficiency grows.
