Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale cloud migration programs, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Strong background in cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives

Role Overview

Program/Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale cloud migration programs within the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on migrating existing applications to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless migration of legacy systems and applications to Google Cloud Platform while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Understanding of Google Cloud Platform architecture and core services, including:

• Compute Engine
• Virtual Private Cloud
• Google Kubernetes Engine

Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies and best practices:

• Lift-and-shift
• Re-platforming
• Re-architecting
• Experience with governance, risk management, and compliance in cloud environments
• Lead end-to-end Google Cloud Platform cloud migration programs within the telecommunications domain

Drive the full lifecycle of cloud migration

• Planning
• Execution
• Delivery
• Post-migration stabilization
• Define migration strategy, scope, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
• Ensure alignment and accountability across all workstreams
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and governance frameworks to ensure secure and compliant migrations
• Ensure interoperability with legacy systems post-migration and support operational readiness
• Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the migration lifecycle

Proven experience managing complex Google Cloud Platform migration programs, preferably in telecom ( if possible) and understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS platforms and / or Network applications
