Android Engineer

You will develop and maintain applications for Android OS-based smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software on the Android tech stack.
• Increase software quality and stability by identifying bugs and increasing test coverage.
• Implement tools to prevent regressions in the applications.
• Coordinate feature launches across multiple engineering teams.
• Integrate companion apps with new generation of consumer hardware.

Required Skills

• Develop software on Android (required).
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage time.
• Troubleshoot issues and make system changes to resolve problems.
• Work with next generation Android-based consumer hardware, including flashing firmware and using command line tools.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iOS development.
• Familiarity with iOS Design system/UI-heavy apps.
