Position Summary

The Communications & Digital Media Manager manages Core Community Blueprint’s public voice, website content, social media, newsletters, event promotion, brand consistency, visual storytelling, and funder-facing impact communication. This role ensures that CCB’s statewide work is professionally presented and that community members, partners, volunteers, and funders can clearly understand the organization’s mission and programs.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain a communications calendar for website updates, social media posts, newsletters, events, campaigns, announcements, partner highlights, and program stories.

Create and update public-facing content for the CCB website, including program pages, event pages, forms, blog posts, landing pages, and basic SEO-ready copy.

Manage social media content planning, posting, captions, graphics, short-form video coordination, community updates, and engagement monitoring.

Develop flyers, one-pagers, email templates, press materials, presentation graphics, impact snapshots, and branded outreach materials.

Collect stories, photos, testimonials, partner quotes, volunteer highlights, and program outcomes from staff and regional coordinators.

Ensure consistent use of CCB logos, colors, fonts, language, disclaimers, accessibility practices, and nonpartisan messaging when required.

Support grant proposals and reports with polished graphics, program summaries, impact narratives, charts, and visuals.

Monitor website forms, digital inquiries, newsletter signups, and content performance in coordination with operations and data staff.

Required Qualifications

Four or more years of communications, digital media, nonprofit marketing, social media, website content, public relations, or content management experience.

Strong writing, editing, graphic coordination, content planning, and brand management skills.

Experience maintaining websites, social media platforms, newsletters, digital forms, basic analytics, and visual content calendars.

Ability to translate programs and community work into clear, professional, engaging, and funder-ready communications.

Comfort working with remote staff, regional teams, executive leadership, volunteers, and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Canva, Adobe tools, Mailchimp or similar email tools, social media scheduling tools, and basic website analytics.

Experience communicating nonprofit, civic engagement, workforce, education, family support, or community service programs.

Experience producing accessible materials and bilingual English/Spanish content workflows.
