Dental Office Social Media Manager Needed (Focus on Leads, Flash Sales & Booked Appointments) - Contract to Hire

Job Description

I own a dental practice and I’m looking for an experienced social media manager to handle our Instagram with a clear focus on generating new patient appointments.

This is not just a content posting role. I’m looking for someone who understands how to turn social media into real leads, DMs, and booked patients.

Scope of Work

• Plan and manage Instagram content (3–4 posts per week, including Reels)
• Create engaging Instagram Stories consistently (behind-the-scenes, polls, offers, etc.)
• Develop and execute flash sale campaigns (24–48 hour promotions such as whitening specials, new patient offers, Invisalign consults)
• Write captions with strong call-to-actions (DM keywords, urgency, booking prompts)
• Guide or assist with content ideas (before/after, patient testimonials, educational content)
• Optimize profile and posting strategy for local reach
• *Primary Goals:**
• Increase new patient bookings
• Generate consistent inbound DMs and inquiries
• Promote high-value services (e.g., whitening, Invisalign, cosmetic treatments)
• *Preferred Experience:**
• Experience working with dental, medical, or local service businesses
• Proven track record of generating leads (not just engagement)
• Familiarity with local targeting strategies and Instagram growth tactics
• Experience with Instagram ads is a plus (optional but preferred)

• Performance insights and suggestions for improvement
