Salary Range: $100,000 to $135,000 dependent upon experience

Who We Are The Statewide Tax Administration & Technology Solutions (STATS) program is a division of the Utah Association of Counties (UAC) that provides tax administration products and services to stakeholders throughout the State of Utah. Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to design, build, and support enterprise‑grade applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services.

This role is primarily focused on full stack development, cloud‑native solutions, and system integrations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple technology stacks and architectural patterns, can quickly learn new tools and platforms, and enjoy mentoring junior developers while contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities Application & Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using .NET Framework, .NET (Core/Modern .NET), MVC, Entity Framework, React, ExtJS or other JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and maintain secure, high‑performance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Apply software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices to create maintainable and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues across environments.

Database Development

• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, schemas, and data models.
• Write and maintain complex T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance‑tuning solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient data access patterns.

Azure Cloud & Integration Services

• Develop, deploy, and maintain solutions using Azure App Services and Azure SQL Database.
• Build event‑driven and integration‑focused architectures using:
• Azure Functions
• Azure Service Bus (Enterprise Service Bus)
• Azure Queues
• Azure Blob Storage
• Support scalable, resilient cloud designs aligned with Azure best practices.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release processes using Azure DevOps.

Full Stack & Multi‑Stack Development

• Collaborate with front‑end developers and designers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, ExtJs or other similar JavaScript frameworks).
• Work across multiple application stacks, frameworks, and configurations, adapting quickly to evolving project needs.
• Contribute to modernization efforts, including upgrades to newer .NET and Azure capabilities.

Mentorship & Collaboration

• Mentor and support junior developers, providing guidance on coding standards, design decisions, and professional growth.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including architects, analysts, and stakeholders.
