What You’ll Do

  • Provide leadership and direction to engineering teams, including offshore associates, by establishing clear project goals and reviewing architectural solutions.
  • Resolve business and production issues through comprehensive root cause analysis and develop effective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level designs for medium to large projects, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and validating ideas through prototypes.
  • Drive innovation by leading the development of strategies and best practices while collaborating across various teams and documenting project scopes.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional mobile engineering projects by translating requirements into practical mobile solutions for platforms such as iPhone and Android, ensuring comprehensive testing and delivery.
  • Uphold and promote the company's values, ensuring compliance with policies and ethical standards through training and guidance for your peers.

What You'll Bring

  • 12+ years of experience with the Android platform.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and a solid understanding of Android app development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with UIkit and Android libraries.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile design patterns and architecture.
  • Ability to integrate with REST-based backend services and work with large codebases.
  • Strong mentoring skills, influencing better engineering practices across the organization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating third-party SDKs and APIs.
  • Expertise in application performance tuning, caching, logging, and monitoring.
